Models back then were just as skinny as they are now, they just have more volumes of fabric around them.

I miss those times (the 60s).
Being a teenager between 1959 and 1964 was a fabulous experience.
I wouldn't trade those memories for anything.

These women had such a lack of confidence in their step. Probably has something to do with the whole women not being allowed to vote thing.

@MsFingerwood Ohh no,...I didnt intend to infer that girdles were comfortable!! Not at all! Just watching how women had to endure the discomfort is terrible. My comments are about the "moral quality" of the people back then. People were just "nicer" back then! Thats what I have been referring to!! Take care!
